Biography
Katarzyna Glensk is a one of
Polish most versatile and imaginative pianist specializing in solo and
chamber music. She has frequently guested at the major leading concert
halls in Great Britain, Germany, Italy, Greece, Czech Republic and
Poland.
Katarzyna has graduated with high distinction from the Frederic Chopin Academy in Warsaw
in the class of prof. Bronisława Kawalla and prof. Jan Ekier. She
awarded a bursary EducaBnBand full
scholarship for postgraduate studies at Trinity College of Music in London.
She has attended number of masterclases led by many distinguished
performers i.e. Douglas Finch, Richard Markson, Yonty Solomon and Maja
Nosowska.
The artist has won plenty of awards at following competitions: 1st prize at VIII International L. Janaček Competition in Brno,
1Bst prize at The Chopin Prize in London, 1st prize at L. Smith Duo
Prize in London and 2nd prize at E. Schumann Duo Prize for Lieder in
London.
She collaborated with Warsaw Philharmonic,
Opole Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra and recently she plays regular
Chopin concerts in Royal Łazienki in Warsaw by the cooperation with
Polish Landscape.
